Why
do men disappear when they learn I'm heavy?
I
am a 50-year old woman who, like a lot of Americans, has a
weight problem. I am changing that, but at the present I need
to lose a lot more. I find myself getting discouraged because
most of the men whose profiles I have looked at in my age
range want a slim/slender woman.
Should
I just give up on dating?
I
can't seem to hold on to a boyfriend for more than a few months,
although each one tells me I am the most beautiful and personable
woman they have met in a long time. I have been so disappointed
by this behavior in men that I don't believe anything a man
says and have been thinking about not dating any longer.

can I improve my response rate?
I've
been responding to a number of profiles that match my interests,
but I haven't received any response. I sent the basic "Hi,
I read your profile and you seem like a great person...."
message, but do you have any advice for a better introduction

Why
do guys reply once and then go silent?
Why
do men reply to my online profile and then go silent when
I respond back with a friendly hello? I don't get it, and
I'm confused. Any light you can shine on this subject would
be greatly appreciated.
What
do I do when we're growing distant?
My
girlfriend and I live in different cities. We have been together
for almost a year now, and the situation is starting to seem
increasingly unreal.
She says she loves me, but she recently decided against moving
in with me, and now it doesn't seem as though we'll ever be
in the same place.

I
am a single father who has been divorced for nine months.
I'm ready to start dating, but there's just one problem: I

I've
been dating a woman who I really like. However, sometimes

A
woman started emailing me, and we hit it off right away —
or at least I thought. For a week we exchanged about twenty
messages a day, and then she stopped emailing me. I sent her
two unanswered messages and never received a reply.
